Gawai Burung 26 March 2011 Rumah Panjang Ebol Sri Aman

Salam,

Yesterday was Gawai Burung festival here in Sri Aman.As usual,the rumah panjang commity intended to
have SABONG as this is their culture which have been carried from earliest of their existance.So,my akik (grandfather) and I was the first one to turn up.The receptionist gave us 'aik pengayu' as for usual.It was the brew rice wine.

The most importance thing,THE PERMIT.If there is no permit,no sabong,and you can get caught by doing so.

As you can see on the permit,from 8am-5pm only.
